45 days and counting…as Famine draws nearer, I realized that my to-do-list persist on growing…who is watering my to-do-list?!! Stop adding fertilizer!! >__<

每當飢餓30快來到時, 馬來西亞世界宣明會將有一個很奇特的現象:
辦公室內會說笑話的人突然增多了.
員工們的食糧突然增大了, 早上放在櫃檯的餅乾啦還是零嘴甚麼的, 不到一天時間就掃光光了.
偶爾發神經的吶喊, 抓頭, 跳來跳去的猴子出現了, 大家如老僧入定, 見怪不怪.
同事們好像要準備打戰似的, 喂飽自己 + 體能訓練 + 擬定作戰策略 , 轉身一變, 大家好像螞蟻一樣忙碌.
這時, 來辦公室幫忙的志工或是實習生, 變成像救世主一樣偉大.
恕不知我們精神緊繃的快瘋掉時, 突然出現的幫手, 是久旱的甘雨.
特別讓我感動的是, 其實我們要求志工們做的多數是打雜的活兒, 但他們仍可以做一整天毫無怨言. 我時常在想: 當我們請求志工們做折信封, 分配傳單, 對著電腦一整天做資料輸入時, 他們會在想甚麼. 會不會覺得浪費時間呢? 會不會覺得我們在利用他們呢? 會不會覺得沒有意義呢?
天啊…. 不敢想下去.
或許我們並不懂得如何表達, 特別是工作時忙得沒頭沒腦的時候.
其實, 我很想把手頭的工作放下, 和我們的志工們一起做事情, 聊一聊天, 開一開玩笑. 很想有機會和他們出去逛一逛, 唱卡拉OK, 看電影, 做一些朋友會做的事情.
上星期六的志工訓練營, 有一些志工早上8點多就到了. 結果, 在沒有空調的情況下, 450名志工汗流浹背的完成整個訓練營, 直到下午5點半, [...]

Ironically, your Famine Committee is perpetually hungry.
There are some of us (ahem..I’m not mentioning names) who can detect the sounds of biscuit tins opening and chocolate wrappers being torn from a mile away.
Helpp!! Could someone pass me a biscuit?
